Mar 2021: We've moved to a new bigger server to handle the growth. And there are some new features such as an action bar at the top of most pages for commonly used functions, and new photo image controls that can help you decipher hard-to-read headstones.
Oct 2019: Additional Search Options now allow you to also search by Gender, Age, BDM Registration, Children's names or Other Information. Note that only a minority of inscriptions include all this data, so these searches are not comprehensive, but it does provide another way of searching that may turn up some additional useful results.
Sep 2019: Over recent weeks this site has been attacked by some aggressive "bots" that are systematically harvesting huge amounts of data. This means the information contributed by our selfless volunteers is been copied for other purposes without permission. It also means the site is often very slow and sometimes inaccessible. I apologise for this inconvenience, and I'm doing the best I can to thwart the attack and minimise the impact. If you see inscriptions from AustCemIndex start to appear on some other website please report it.
