The cemetery, which contains memorials dating from 1869, is still in use. A new entrance has been erected in recent times by their descendants to commemorate the pioneers William and Eliza Doggett and John & Elizabeth Fletcher who are buried here. The grounds are fenced and well maintained and broken glass presented no problem. The site is obviously divided into denominational portions but there is nothing to indicate what they are. There are no facilities.
Jean and I visited the cemetery on 12 January 2005 and made digital images and notes of every visible inscription. In compiling this list, we also consulted the NSW index of births, deaths and marriages and the World War 2 Nominal Roll to help determine some names and dates and for additional information. Images of the inscriptions may be viewed and downloaded at the list of inscriptions for this cemetery.
