Manning Great Lakes Memorial Gardens
183 Pampoolah Road,
Manning Great Lakes Memorial Gardens was established in 1999 and provides a lawn section, headstone section and a range of rose gardens and rock gardens for the placement of ashes. It incorporates a crematorium, chapel and other facilities and amenities. The whole cemetery is set in beautifully landscaped and maintained grounds.
Paul Fitzgerald has visited the site on several occasions and made digital images of all visible inscriptions. His images may be viewed from the list of inscriptions for this cemetery. Paul compiled that list from his images and notes and with the kind assistance of the cemetery administration. The NSW indices of births, deaths and marriages and the Australian War Memorial online military rolls were also consulted for additional information.
From the Taree exit on the Pacific Highway at Glenthorne, take the Old Bar Road for 3.7km, turn left into Pampoolah Road, from where it is 1.9km to the cemetery entrance.
