Lue General Cemetery

Lue cemetery is about 100 years old, the earliest memorial found being dated 1902. The grounds are well fenced to exclude stock and are maintained in tidy condition by Council. There are no facilities.
Jean and I made digital images and took notes of all visible inscriptions on 5 May 2002. This list was compiled with reference to the NSW indexes of births, deaths and marriages and to death and funeral announcements and obituaries published in the Mudgee Guardian & Gulgong Advertiser for further information. How to find it
Lue is a small rural village 28km north-east of Mudgee. If driving from Mudgee, take the Ulan Road north for about half a kilometre before turning east onto the Rylstone Road. After 27 km, the cemetery turnoff, which is signposted, will be seen on the left hand (northern) side of the road. Follow this dirt road over the railway line and to the left hand for 0.8km to the cemetery. Lat -32.643711, Long 149.833796
