Allora General Cemetery

The inscription list and images for Allora General Cemetery have been kindly contributed by John Arthur, who visited the cemetery on several occasions during January and February 2007 and listed and photographed every visible inscription.
The cemetery is divided into denominational portions of Anglican, Catholic, Methodist and Presbyterian. It also includes a lawn section and a columbarium. John says that, although the portions are indicated, there are no row markers. He found inscriptions dating from as early as 1854 but notes that there are many unmarked graves.
John says that the grounds are well maintained by the Warwick Shire Council.

How to find it
The cemetery is on the eastern side of Allora-Clifton Road, near Elphinstone Road, about 1km north of Allora township.
